Casita Ranch Stay - Bring Your Own Horses - 4 Days -- Enjoy a 4 day 3 night stay in a quaint little tin-roofed cabin located ten miles from Ranch Headquarters and has its own corral, hay, and water pump for the horses. Inside you'll be greeted by a clean, newly refurbished, 4 room cottage that sleeps four. Enjoy indoor plumbing and only 4 miles from Ranch Headquarters. In the kitchen is a propane cook stove, a tank for running water, and a wood stove in the living area for heating. Plan to bring and prepare your own food. There is a communication device in the house for your safety.

The Casita Guest House is situated in an ancient lake bed, in what we now call Vega Pasture, with cottonwood groves, springs and streams. The lake hosts the richest wildlife habitat on the Ranch including pronghorn antelope, mile deer, coyotes, prairie dogs, easgles and other raptors, waterfowl, dove, quail, and over 200 recorded species of migratory and residential birds. The little stucco Casita is clean and comfortable, shaded by towering trees, and has a wood stove and covered porch. It sleeps up to six people in two double beds and one bunk bed. The house is decorated in the southwestern style, and is full of photography on Ranch scenes and cattle work. A quiet, cozy get-a-way!

In the evening, enjoy watching the stars, listening for the yip-yip-yip of the coyotes, and feel the cool wind on your face. You will live a week just like generations of people did before us who worked the land on horseback, paving the way for our world as it exists today.

Your horses will be in the corrals close by your house for you to catch and ride out from every day. Enjoy the independence of ranch living without being so remote.

A minimum of 2 guests is required for your safety and enjoyment. This package includes lodging and horse facilities. This does not include meals.This price is per person for 4 days and 3 nights. Additional nights may be purchased for $188.00 per adult. Pick-up from Colorado Springs Airport Area hotels for $40 per person with a $100 minimum.
